Volunteering at St Paul’s Ginninderra
Without our Volunteers, we would be unable to provide the variety of services which support the St Paul’s community. St. Paul’s aims to provide its activities in a very friendly and caring manner and being a volunteer can give great satisfaction and a feeling of worth for the people providing the service.
Financial Donations for St Paul’s
Why Give?
As we grow in our understanding of the gospel, we start to realise that we can’t out give God. The gospel says that God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son for us. Our giving is a grateful response to the overwhelming generosity of God (2 Corinthians 8:9).
As God’s people and partners in the task of sharing the gospel we express this partnership through our prayers, our active involvement, and our financial support (Philippians 1:3-7).
We have an obligation to provide for those who labour among us in the Lord and teach us God’s word.
We also have an obligation to provide for the needy (1 Corinthians 9; James 2).
How are we financed?
We are almost entirely financed by member donations.
On occasion we receive financial support from the wider community to deliver specific activities and programs.
How does my giving help?
Your generous giving supports the good news of Jesus going forth in Canberra and the world. Through our mission partners it also contributes to helping the needy and vulnerable in our community.
